TSTC Marshall will pay honor to Veterans during Veterans Appreciation Day November 17, 2009 at the Visitor Entrance commons area at the South Building. A general browse session begins at 10:00 a.m. and concludes at 2:00 p.m. with Department of Veterans Affairs offices in Tyler, Marshall and Shreveport, LA represented. They will be joined by the Texas Veterans Commission in Plano, Veterans Land Board Office and the local chapter of the American Legion. The representatives will be available to discuss their programs and provide benefits information

The Veterans Appreciation Ceremony begins at 11:30, followed by an All American picnic featuring hot dogs, fried chicken and apple pie. Keynote Speakers for the event will be Vernon B. Lewis, Major General (ret.) U.S. Army, TSTC Marshall President Randall E. Wooten and Col. (ret.) U. S. Air Force will serve as the master of ceremony. The public is invited to attend.
